We’ve been fortunate to hear Christian’s story. Christian is an experienced Customer Service Specialist, and his story is one of growth and true teamwork. Over the past ten years, Christian has actively shaped his own career path while supporting his colleagues - both in his day-to-day work and through his involvement with the Workers Council and Representative Body for People with Disabilities.

Hi, I’m Christian.
I started my journey here ten years ago as a Call Center Agent in our Service Dialog Center, back when we were still called “Infoscore Forderungsmanagement”. Today, I’m working as a Customer Service Specialist for a major e-commerce client, based in our Mainz office in Germany. Having been a part of the company for so long, one of my colleagues encouraged me to run for the Workers Council in March 2022. One of the key reasons I stepped into this position was my involvement with our Representative Body for People with Disabilities, a role I took on in October 2021. Since joining the Workers Council, I’ve been committed to amplifying the voices of my teammates and to helping shape Riverty’s culture of inclusion and belonging.

I’ve grown both personally and professionally at Riverty. My journey has taken me from Call Center Agent to Call Center Agent with deputy responsibilities, and now to Customer Service Specialist in written customer support. As someone with a disability, our flexible working hours make a big difference because they allow me to coordinate my medical appointments around my work responsibilities.

At Riverty, you are encouraged to take ownership within your role and contribute fresh ideas to continuously evolve the way we work. During my time as a deputy in the Call Center, I developed a training program for new colleagues. The aim was to help them quickly and easily understand case histories, making our processes more efficient over time and enabling us to bring confidence and expertise into conversations with customers.
I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with others. It's great to see colleagues grow in confidence as their skills and strengths develop. With the new training concept, I was proud to play an active role in shaping the onboarding experience for our new colleagues, helping them to quickly feel secure and settled in their roles.

What advice would you give a future Riverty employee?
